Peony Picking - June 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th
These queen of spring flowers boast huge, elegant, fragrant blooms. Peonies are what we call “one and done” flowers. So once the blooms are cut, they are done blooming for the season and will not keep reproducing blooms until next year. This means I can count the number of flowers we will have available. It also means that peony picking is going to work differently than any of our other picking opportunities. Peony picking bunches will be sold ahead of time, and you can come cut during any of the following times:
Monday, June 1st, Noon to 3pm
Tuesday, June 2nd, 9am to Noon AND 4pm to 6pm
Wednesday, June 3rd, Noon to 3pm
Friday, June 5th, 2pm to 6pm
Please be patient as we test drive this new product offering! The hours are wonky, this week is hectic, but we want to get those beauties into your hands!
You can purchase your peony bunches using the link below, and come on any of the days available. There will be no walk-in picking as the stock is limited.
Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds if you do not show up for your your peonies. We are going to sell them in bunches of 5 stems, for $35. You can purchase more than one bunch at check-out by changing the quantity you wish to purchase. The link will let you know if they are sold out. As buds color up and get ready for picking, I will add bunches to the link.
If you have not yet discovered where we hid the peonies… you will enter the farm, and walk down the woodchip pathway past both main gardens. The peonies are tucked in behind the private garden to your right. I will meet you there! Once purchased, I’ll have your name on a list for when you come to cut. This will feel like a much more private affair than our summer picking or tulip season.
The peony garden is not as well manicured as our main gardens, so take care while walking around. Please remember to wear shoes while around the farm, no dogs allowed in the peony garden for their safety and the well-being of our flowers.
Peony Picking Opportunities:
Monday, June 1st, Noon to 3pm
Tuesday, June 2nd, 9am to Noon AND 4pm to 6pm
Wednesday, June 3rd, Noon to 3pm
Friday, June 5th, 2pm to 6pm

Honeybee Grove Presents: Graze at Golden Hour Dining by the Barn
Thursday, June 11th from 6:00 – 8:30pm
While the flowers are not yet in bloom, the vegetation is lush and green around the farm. Join us as the sun begins its slow descent, casting a warm golden glow over the landscape, with the barn stands as a rustic backdrop, with long tables set beneath the open sky. Guests gather around to enjoy a delightful al fresco dinner, savoring fresh, seasonal grazing foods that highlight Spring’s bounty—think charcuterie boards laden with cheeses, fruits, and artisanal breads, alongside vibrant, crisp salads bursting with flavor. As the gentle sounds of music float through the air, the atmosphere becomes one of relaxed elegance, a perfect blend of nature and nourishment. Golden hour creates the perfect setting for conversation, laughter, and a shared celebration of Spring.
$135 ticket includes seating by the barn to enjoy a hardy spread of savory farm to table aperitifs, spring inspired bites, and complimentary wine.
If we are expecting wet weather, we will move the tables into the barn. Tickets are required for this event, must be 21+ to attend, sorry, no refunds.
Things to Keep in Mind While Visiting:
Mind your shoe choice as you will be walking on woodchipped paths and grassy areas.
Not outside alcohol allowed. No smoking or vaping on farm grounds.
Porta- John on site
Parking is available around the commercial building that houses Taste Deli and Rebel Yoga. The farm is located behind the white building.
Private Events
At this time we are not equipped to host private events outside of the events we host ourselves. Though we know it would be a beautiful location to do so, there are too many hurdles that come with being an event venue while operating a farm that is open to the public.
We do offer two floral related opportunities to gather at the farm - Private Floral Design Workshops and Private Sunset U-Picks. Please see details below. Please note, due to strict alcohol laws, neither of these events will allow for alcohol consumption.
Private Floral Design Workshop
Spend time at the farm learning basic techniques of floral arranging and go home with a handcrafted arrangement in a decorative vessel. Workshops will be held in the private garden. Contingency for bad weather will be discussed. Workshops require a minimum of six people and a maximum of sixteen. Expect a workshop to take approximately 90 minutes.
Flowers will be pre-cut and prepared, ready for arranging upon arrival. All necessary tools and instruction will be provided.
Private Sunset U-Pick
Available during August and September Only.
Spend an evening at the farm during our favorite time of day - Golden Hour. Sunset u-picks are held in the public garden with access to our zinnias, sunflowers, dahlias from seed, snapdragons, celosia, gladiolus and more (depending on season and weather. Available in two hour blocks from August to end of September, during the evening. Maximum 40 people.
