04.26.26 Daffodil Day
Daffodil Day is our signature spring celebration at the farm and a way for us to kickoff to the 2026 flower-picking season! Join us on Sunday, April 26th from 10am to 3pm for a vibrant day filled with fresh blooms, local flavor, and community spirit.
Stroll through the bright, cheerful daffodils and be among the first to enjoy our u-pick season, with both daffodils and early tulips available for harvesting. Browse a curated selection of over 18 artisan vendors, enjoy delicious food, and take in the beauty of spring in full bloom. Live music by Pete Bourquin will accompany the day.
This family-friendly, community event is free to attend and perfect for all ages. Whether you're picking flowers, shopping local, or simply soaking up the sunshine, there’s something for everyone.
Located right in the heart of Somers, NY, Daffodil Day is the perfect way to welcome spring—we can’t wait to celebrate with you.
Overflow parking is available next door at the Elephant Hotel. Dogs are welcome in the front grassy area of the market, but not amongst the flowers or gardens. There is a porta-john available on site. Grounds are uneven as you will be walking in the field. Proper footwear recommended.
Private Events
At this time we are not equipped to host private events outside of the events we host ourselves. Though we know it would be a beautiful location to do so, there are too many hurdles that come with being an event venue while operating a farm that is open to the public.
We do offer two floral related opportunities to gather at the farm - Private Floral Design Workshops and Private Sunset U-Picks. Please see details below. Please note, due to strict alcohol laws, neither of these events will allow for alcohol consumption.
Private Floral Design Workshop
Spend time at the farm learning basic techniques of floral arranging and go home with a handcrafted arrangement in a decorative vessel. Workshops will be held in the private garden. Contingency for bad weather will be discussed. Workshops require a minimum of six people and a maximum of sixteen. Expect a workshop to take approximately 90 minutes.
Flowers will be pre-cut and prepared, ready for arranging upon arrival. All necessary tools and instruction will be provided.
Private Sunset U-Pick
Available during August and September Only.
Spend an evening at the farm during our favorite time of day - Golden Hour. Sunset u-picks are held in the public garden with access to our zinnias, sunflowers, dahlias from seed, snapdragons, celosia, gladiolus and more (depending on season and weather. Available in two hour blocks from August to end of September, during the evening. Maximum 40 people.
