Grounds and Growing Details for Photography Consideration
As mentioned above, we encourage you to visit the farm to familiarize yourself with photo opportunity locations. The two main gardens are fenced in, with black weed fabric down the rows. These two gardens are in bloom from late July to middle of October depending on the weather. The zinnia garden is at its best in August and early September. The Private Garden will be lush through the end of September, with the dahlia rows in full bloom from September to October. At the back of the property is a picturesque old red barn that makes for a wonderful backdrop as well. In April, our daffodil hill is in bloom. Three sides of the property fill in with greenery, shrubs and trees in the Spring making for a cozy feel around the flower gardens. We have an old tractor that loves his photo taken, and is available as a prop for photos with proper notice, as well as a few wooden benches. In September and October we sell pumpkins that may be carefully used as additional props. Take a look at the photos below to get a feel for the farm and its many photography opportunities.
